This is one of the hardier Calleryana pears. An ideal street tree, it flowers a bit later and blooms better than 'Bradford'. Glossy green foliage has a nice fall color that is a red-purple. Good fireblight resistance. Upright pyramidal form. Voted 2005 Urban Tree of the Year by the Society of Municipal Arborists
